New organic wheat varieties coming from SCOPE

New varieties of organic wheat and conventional oats were described at the recent Small Grains/Alfalfa Field Day, hosted by the Department of Plant Sciences. Grant Studying Wild Carrots Seeks to Improve Stress Tolerance

National Association of Plant Breeders scholarships

The National Association of Plant Breeders Borlaug Scholars scholarships for (linked) Undergraduates and Graduate Students are open now until March 8th, 2024. This scholarship provides travel to the NAPB meeting on July 21-25, 2024 in St Louis, MO,  hosted by Bayer Crop Sciences and University of Illinois, and a mentor for 1 year.
